Mermaids? and tapestry kneelers

In Zennor Parish Church, west Cornwall. Realise that though we have had much discussion of the symbolism of fish in different cultures - through our embroidery packs in this project, no one has ever spoken about mermaids. Half fish, half human. An interesting area to take forward, perhaps.
